Visit one of New England’s earliest graveyards with a special focus on those of African descent who are buried there. Meet your guides from the Hempsted Houses and the New London chapter of the NAACP at the burying ground at the top of Hempstead Street.  


Advance registration recommended. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather as this program takes place outdoors. In case of cancellation due to severe weather, registrants will be notified at the email address on file.
