Join New London Landmarks Executive Director, Violet Johnson for a one-time, in-depth tour of the Palmer-Warner House that looks at preservation from multiple angles. Drawing on Connecticut’s preservation movement, this program explores how personal taste and evolving ideals have shaped the house’s carefully constructed “era,” sometimes aligning with—and sometimes diverging from—its 18th-century appearance. Along the way, Johnson will trace the decisions, restorations, and reinterpretations that reveal how image-making, memory, and historic preservation intersect in this singular space.

Tickets are $20 for the general public and $15 for Members of Connecticut Landmarks and New London Landmarks. Membership will be verified at check-in.
